The GEL Kayano line is a personal favorite of mine, and the 23rd edition doesn’t disappoint. I don’t have flat feet, but I still love this shoe, and I know it’s done wonders for some of my running buddies who do have flat feet. Its characteristic seamless construction is great because there’s no seam to rub your toe. You’ll experience one of the most comfortable rides on the market, and it’s among the most stable of all Asics shoes. This version is more lightweight than the 22, and there’s new mesh engineering that increases the stability and support of the shoe. It’s got a nice plush interior right out of the box, and it’s durable enough to withstand speed and mileage. Sure, it’s a bit expensive and some people find it narrow in the toe, but I still think it’s a solid shoe. The 23 is a bit stiffer than its predecessor, though, so if massive flexibility is your thing, you might not favor this model.

The entire purpose of the Asics men’s Gel Quantum Infinity running shoes is to support over-pronation, making these shoes perfect for flat footed runners. They are very stable, amazingly durable, and they also happen to look fantastic. They are not the most lightweight of running shoes, but that is down to the amount of cushioning and support they offer.
The upper is just one long piece, which makes it seamless, and helps to improve the aesthetics of the shoe (as well as improving comfort). This shoe is perfect for long distance or middle distance running, and any flat footed runner should consider trying them out.

The Mizuno Wave Inspire 16 road running shoe is able to be used for pretty much any distance up to marathon. The shoe is well known for its incredible stability and is amazingly durable. This shoe will last you a long time. The shoe uses a X10 outsole which increases the durability.
The shoes are made with the Smoothride support wave, which provides optimum cushioning without affecting weight too much. The shoes are quite breathable, thanks to a mesh upper. This really is a great running shoe. The heel collar has been updated from the previous models to fit better and feel more secure.

Another Brooks addition to the list, this shoe is very lightweight, great for both running and walking and offers a stable ride with responsive cushioning. It has a roomy forefoot area, and, as with the Beast 16, offers a range of widths. However, some people say that this shoe irritates or rubs their skin, and the insole on this model is a bit more constricting than many runners like. It does run a half size small, so keep that in mind when ordering, but if you’re okay with a snugger shoe, this one might still be a great option.

The ISO 2 road running shoe by Saucony is extremely popular with flat footed runners, due to the amazingly designed footbed. The Form Fit Performance footbed is specifically designed to provide the stability that is required by runners who suffer from mild to severe pronation.
This is the shoe that many over-pronating runners will hear about from fellow runners, Saucony have a reputation for producing fantastic stability shoes. The shoes are excellent for road running or treadmill running, and are very durable. They look great, particularly the olive shade colour scheme. If you want to prioritise comfort and stability while running, then the Guide ISO 2 is the perfect choice for you.

There are five great choices on this list, but if we had to pick one shoe to go for it would be a toss up between the Mizuno Wave Inspire 16 and the Asics Gel Quantum Infinity running shoes. The Saucony Guide ISO 2 would also deserve a mention, particularly if you want more stability.
